it's fine but don't expect any sympathy if you complain that loud music is keeping your kids up at 10/11 at night like my neighbours did, despite their kids being very loud at 7.30 in the morning when i was trying to sleep.

theBOD · 16/06/2008 17:18

oh and of course him mowing the lawn at 8.30 which i obviously meant to add otherwise my post had no relevance to the thread title.

unfitmother · 16/06/2008 17:19

Not if you don't like your neighbours

our neighbour has a professional gardener in (doing a cheapo homer) every Sunday morning first thing. the gardener is in headphones, the noise of the petrol mower is ASTONISHING and he has only just been prevailed upon to start at 9am. previously it was 8. neighbour is an old bastard who thinks that we should all be up and worshipping by then.

AbbeyA · 16/06/2008 17:28

I wouldn't want to make a noise before 10am at the weekend.

Pablop · 16/06/2008 17:30

I wouldn't mind, if the weather was nice enough to mow the lawn then I would want to be up too. (smile)

pointydog · 16/06/2008 17:31

hmmm. Bit early for a Sunday. I'd wait till 10

VeniVidiVickiQV · 16/06/2008 17:35

I'd not do it that early. Well, not unless the nice neighbours had gone away and we were left with the twunt neighbours who think nothing of jet-washing their drive at 8am on a sunday morning, or, tearing down their shed at 7am, or pebble-dashing their house at 10pm, or tearing up floorboards at 11pm over the christmas holidays.

You get the picture....?
