Weight loss after 2nd baby

I have a nearly 16m old and notice I've lost some weight. He is active! I don't weigh myself but my appearance has really slimmed down. Has anyone else had this? I feel ok in myself, just a worn out mum who's on the go! People keep commenting on how 'good' I look but now I've thought about it, I'm starting to worry that it's not normal. I don't want to go down the rabbit hole of getting checked if I'm ok....!!? You'll see by my name that I'm a worrier!!

Are you breastfeeding? I hit my lowest weight ever (as an adult!) in the second year after my eldest was born, and I’m fairly sure it was down to feeding her.

It could be nothing, or it could be the sign of something. If it’s playing on your mind go and see a GP to help you not think about it all the time.

What do you think it could be a sign of? 😕

Was she really active?
Since September I've being doing the school run. It's only 2 mins each way, but it's still activity I wasn't doing before. My 16m old is very active. I'm in my early 40s too.

Yes. After each of my three pregnancies, within a year or so I'd gone down to 8 and a half stone, my lowest adult weight. It was the change in lifestyle. Little to no alcohol, lots of (literal) heavy lifting, on my feet until late at night (must have done so many steps walking them up and down at night!) pram pushing and walks. Having them in my arms rather than snacks. Maternity leave that meant I could cook healthy meals rather than takeaway after work.
Take time to note your daily calorie intake and track your steps. You may well simply be burning more than you're consuming. If you're not, snd still losing after a month or fall below healthy BMI, check with your GP.
