To ask for Netflix/Amazon movie’s recommendations

I’m stuck in Coronary Care with unstable angina, waiting for a slot for an angiogram. Not allowed home until it’s done (I’ve had it before and after a week had a heart attack so they don’t trust me!).

I have Netflix and Prime. I like sci-if, decent horror (not just gore, more disturbing) and dramas. I don’t mind a cheap rental, but not up for £7-8 for a film.

Help me MN, shamelessly posting for sympathy and suggestions!

love Diplomat on Netflix - there’s three series now and it cracks along a quite a pace, so might be good for keeping you distracted

3 seasons of Mr Mercedes on Netflix. Very good if you like something a bit dark / supernatural. Detective type series based on the Stephen King novels.

PS. Look out for the Stephen King cameo 😀

If you like sci fi The Expanse series on Amazon Prime is good.

Netflix Dept Q is actually really good as well.

Whiplash and Fracture movies. Both on Prime. Just rewatched both of them recently.
