The course I fancy isn't expensive just don't want to be conned.
Has anyone done one with them? TIA

It’s not an online course provider I’ve heard of, but that doesn’t mean anything negative.
would this be a course for a leisure activity or to expand skills for the workplace? If the latter, make sure you know exactly what qualification you’d be working towards (and is it recognised by potential employers) and whether any examination/certification costs are extra. And do some research into the reputation and longevity of the provider to make sure you won’t be left high and dry halfway through a paid-for course that they suddenly aren’t able to provide any longer.

It's for work. If anyone can recommend decent online courses I'd be grateful. Counselling preferably. Or anything that'll help me escape my job.
I might try and improve my IT skills?

Yes I did a payrol course it was good. I used it for CPD.

You sound really fed up with your job! I haven't heard of this particular provider, but improving IT skills sounds like a good idea, as a start to changing careers.
Counselling is a different matter. Be very wary of online counselling courses. By it's definition it is about engaging with humans and a good counsellor will have trained with humans with a high degree of practical engagement, as well as theoretical training - going through counselling themselves first for example, to really understand their own psyche.
Do you have any skills which you could start to work on already? Admin and IT are always good starting points and can be used in so many areas.

The name rings a bell - I feel like I may have come across it when looking at different course. Your local college will have decent online IT courses.

Online Counselling courses are normally just an insight into counselling with the intention of understanding some of the practices, but you wouldn't be able to work as a counsellor.

Yes, lots of times. It's great for CPD. However, if you're looking to move on from your current job I would recommend the ICS. I gained two diplomas with them in psychology. All done online and with great tutor support! My certificates definitely helped me get my current role, which I've been in for 10 years.

Thanks everyone.
If I go down the counselling route there's a course starting at our local college in September. I'd do an introductory course with New skills.
