I would take your daughter to the GP because it’s not normal for a one year old to whine and cry all day every day. She may have stomach issues/allergies/pain.

Have you spoken to your GP or Health Visitor to hopefully identify why your daughter is whining and crying all day?

I’ve brought it up to the health visitor on multiple occasions which she’s never showed any concerns she was a colicky reflux baby and she has a lactose allergy but nothing in her diet to cause her any problems from that I might look into taking her to the gp

Definitely check whether there are physical reasons she's so upset so often. Other than that, if living independently is impossible for now, take her out more? Playgroups, playgrounds, nursery rhymes at the library, just for a walk?

Soya intolerances often go alongside dairy/lactose intolerances, so its worth asking about that. Also are you really sure you have cut out all sources of lactose? It can hide in packaged foods under different names like whey caseinates and natural flavours. Lastly might anyone in the family be giving her foods containing dairy without you knowing?

We’ve spoke to the dietian and her diet is really well monitored, but she doesn’t really go anywhere except her grandmas which she’s well clued up on her diet to she just seems happier outside than inside but the weather is horrible at the moment so we go to as many groups as possible and play dates with her friends but she’s always just been a very whiny baby aswell so im not so sure what could be going on she’s 15 months and not walking yet so im not sure if that’s making her frustrated with her not been so mobile

I would definitely explore it because there may be dairy creeping in somewhere or other allergies at play - often babies with one allergy have others - clearly she’s in pain if she’s upset and crying and whining a lot so I would rule out a physical cause for this first.

Mine was similar and we finally got to see an NHS dietician they confirmed the was milk intolerant. Taking it out of her diet helped a lot. Nursery were useless and kept giving things with milk because they didn’t realise ‘whey powder’ or ‘cheese powder’ were milk, and she was noticeably grumpier and cried more on the days the fed things with milk in. Once I finally got it through through their heads that ‘milk’ doesn’t just literally mean ‘a drink of milk’ it helped, but it was scary how ignorant and frankly stupid people in charge of the children were!
