AIBU to cut down my own trees?

I have two very overgrown conifers at the base of my garden. I hate them and want to cut them down as they block essentially all the sunlight in my south facing garden, and they're expensive to continually prune. There's no TPO and we're not in a conservation area. One of my neighbours, neighbour A, also wants us to cut them down, as they block their sunlight too. The other neighbour, neighbour B, doesn't want them cut down. She is not affected as much by the sunlight issue and feels she will lose some of her privacy if we cut them down. We will all lose some privacy by felling the trees, but not that much as there's other trees and hedges along the boundary that won't be cut down, and we plan on replacing the conifers with something that isn't a bloody conifer... AIBU to cut them down anyway? They are 100% MY trees, and it is two against one anyway for/against the trees... I just want some sunlight in my south facing garden ffs!! I know she'll kick off if we do it, but legally she doesn't have any recourse?! (There is sufficient access to fell the trees from my garden and neighbour A's garden should neighbour B refuse access)

Cut them down. She can grow her own and have the expense of them if she's that desperate.

I’d probably get a tree surgeon to trim them right back instead of cutting them down. I don’t think anyone can stop you cutting them down though.

I will take the logs if cut to 7 inches and delivered to my house

She might plant her own and let them grow even taller and you’d have no recourse. Better to make them much shorter, I’d think.

I would remove the conifers and consider planting a couple of silver birch or something similar, light and airy but breaks up an open view.

From a tree surgeon- Conifers if that overgrown will never look nice if reduced heavily. Remove and replant with something nicer. If no conservation area or TPO you can do what you like. She has no rights and cannot stop you. I would just notify her that tree surgeon will be here on such date to remove.

Chop them down. Do it before March when birds start nesting. Do you want to borrow my chainsaw? 😁

Is there a reason you've been discussing this with neighbours in advance of booking the work? Your trees, your garden, no TPO etc, just book the work and then it is polite (but not essential) to inform neighbours "they'll be some tree works happening on Tuesday/tomorrow so sorry it's a bit noisy/disruptive". If you want it done, then get it done.

Cut them down and plant something else. Your neighbour can either plant her own or put a fence up if they are worried about privacy
