Heart palpitations

I’ve got health anxiety and I’ve suddenly started to obsess over the feeling off my heart, to the point I can’t sleep. I felt really nervous early and my heart started to race, I walked up stairs and put my watch on and it said 150bpm….

as soon as I laid in bed, even though I was still anxious it came to 120bpm.

then fell to 100-110bpm but I was anxious and checking.

I’m going to speak to my doctor on Monday, but I’m so concerned. And was wondering is anyone had any similar?

AIBU to myself? Ugh

Your heart rate does rise on going up the stairs.
What is your normal resting heart rate
See the GP if you are worried

I can’t tell you. I’ve had a cold for a few days so I borrowed my husbands watch, I don’t own my own because i know it would be a trigger for my health anxiety. Which it seems today, anytime I looks at the watch it goes higher 😭

yesterday I used his watch and it was 75-85bpm and I was happy with that, but I’ve not been able to get it there today

im so tired, I’ve not slept, but I’m hyper aware of my heart beat.

I’ve got a therapy appointment tomorrow, as I suffer with health anxiety since the premature birth of my boy, so I’m seeing someone for that anyway

Give your husband his watch back, it’s doing you no good.

Tiredness, anxiety and feeling poorly will make your heart rate rise
But concerns should always be taken seriously

Plus alot of the watches arent accurate
They should never be used as a medical device
