to risk it/wonder if there's an easy way to guarantee fresh flowers for Christmas?

Local florist quoted £100+ today for some simple eucalyptus, berries and gypsgypsophila for bud vases for Christmas.

AIBU to think that's a lot for a few little vases around the Xmas table?

AIBU to risk it and just pick up what I can from the supermarkets/M&S on the 23/24th?

Don't want anything fancy just simple foliage, red or white flowers/berries and didn't expect it to be more than £50-60...

That’s a lot of money to spend on flowers! I would do what you’ve planned and just buy some supermarket blooms

I always buy from M&S at a large rail station on Christmas Eve - I’ve never had any problem with the selection, with so many people traveling I suppose they must stock up. Is that an option? Other supermarkets when I’ve visited just prior to Christmas always seem to have decent stock, I’d absolutely chance it rather than spend £100 - even if you don’t get the “perfect” selection, it’s not going to be the end of the world for decoration.

I am always recommending these people, but I find them completely reliable, the flowers are fresh, grown in the UK (unlike supermarket flowers) and very fresh. They will arrive a day or so before Christmas.
