I’ve read threads recently with serious concerns being raised about cost of living issues, Government taxation strategy and jobs market / advancement of AI.
I’m wondering if this is a reflection of the times we live in and everywhere is the same or whether there is some unknown utopia we should all be moving to where the grass is actually greener.
so please can you tell me:
YABU - the world’s going to hell in a handcart and here are some reasons why.
OR
YANBU - the UK is finished but I’ve found utopia and it is here. Please can you explain why it is utopia and what you think the UK could do to improve things for general public?
I know there are threads like this sometimes so I’m not trying to stir the pot, I’m just really keen to see if we can collate evidence that can be useful for anyone who is having a bit of a wobble at the moment.
For full disclosure: I’m probably a UK lifer but I’d like to be making an informed decision to stay rather than sleep walking to potential disaster.
