Already the roast gammon naysayers are moaning. It was wonderful. Polar bear punch a lovely touch.

Come again?

You can't post this without sharing a link to a clip of it!

What?

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 06/12/2025 22:54

No it wasn't in the least bit funny it was bratty .

When Matt said about mascerating the grapes and James said "Too much masceration turns you blind" ...THAT was funny .

When Matt asked about their PodCast and ran the blender , Ed quipped about "Oh ask us about our Podcast while the blenders on" THAT was funny .

Throwing a strop and throwing things about . No .

mumofoneAloneandwell · 06/12/2025 22:54

Oh I missed it! My internet stopped working and I gave up on it 😭

Mintyt · 07/12/2025 06:48

It actually was bad but funny the I want to be on Sunday Brunch was funny too

BeNoisyFish · 07/12/2025 06:57

I just saw the clip and I didn't find it funny, it was terrible behaviour and the loud laughing is confusing me because he looked scary and pathetic at the same time. I don't like punching and throwing things even as a joke.

EleanorReally · 07/12/2025 06:59

it made everyone laugh

mjf981 · 07/12/2025 09:27

I haven't seen it, but he annoys me so much in general I won't even try to watch it.

lazyarse123 · 07/12/2025 09:31

Just watched that link. Not even remotely funny. Imagine being someone who's early home life was like that. It's violence masquerading as comedy.

I watched it yesterday. It reminded me of 90s kids TV, a bit of slapstick. It wasn't the funniest bit of the programme but it did make me laugh.

Yes, this. It was clearly lighthearted. No idea why people are being so po-faced about it.

absolutely

LeadBubbles · 07/12/2025 10:44

I'll sound overly dramatic but, although I LOVE James Acaster, screaming, punching and throwing things really triggers me. Puts me in fight or flights response, makes me scared and angry.

JifNtGif · 07/12/2025 18:45

It's a nice take on the "food heaven or food hell" weekly section on the shows, since food hell is always a delicious alternative rather than some bush tucker trial.

To the PP "I don't like punching and throwing things even as a joke.", you must hate pretty much all silent film comedy, tom and jerry, the young ones, bottom etc. You should expand your horizons.

Juat watched it. Found it funny, it was OTT and staged.
