Would your children still be interested in advent calendars if there wasnt a chocolate or a present when you open a door?

Is the 24th still.the double door nativity scene?

No, they wouldn't. Teen DDs it's all about daily chocolate or beauty calendars.

Probably not. When I was a kid we had a picture advent calendar and a chocolate one. These days I never see the picture ones. I wouldn’t do anything more than a chocolate one though - they’re going to get enough at Christmas anyway!

Depends on the calendar! I work hard to avoid religious ones, I like my Christmas entirely secular.

I'm in my sixties and still have a picture advent calendar each year. My brother bought me one this year and it's so pretty.
