I asked DH to get salted crisps from the shop today. He came back with salt & vinegar ones. When I asked why, he said it’s what I’d asked for and that if I’d wanted salted ones, I should’ve said “ready salted.” 😂

If you were asked to get salted crisps, would you buy salt & vinegar or ready salted ones? 😂

"Salted crisps" isn't a thing. You should have made a more accurate and specific request, but he also is at fault for not seeking clarification. The only way out of this impasse is a messy divorce, involving custody of the crisps. 😉

I'd have been confused too in his position. You need to be clearer.

Hes a twit. Obviously "salted" means ordinary ready salted. If you'd said "plain", would he have come back with a sliced-up potato?

Nah, salt n shake, so you can decide if you want salted or have them plain.

Crisps is something I take VERY seriously!

Personally I would assume ‘salted’ to mean the kettle chip (or similar) variety…’ready salted’ implies a walkers style crisp IMO. Two very different crisps!

A Google search of ‘salted crisps’ brings up exclusively salt flavoured crisps, no salt and vinegar. Even if he calls them ‘ready salted’, surely ‘salted’ is closer to ready salted to assume that’s what you wanted…how and why would anyone make such an illogical leap to salt and vinegar?!?!

Definitely LTB! 😂😂😂

Is he always this dense and incompetent? My thoughts are with you at this sad time.
