I have had a few people disagree!

Breakfast -
Coffee with Frothed Almond Milk
Lemon, Cucumber & Ginger Spearmint Tea
One Date dipped in Peanut Butter as a chaser for my Sertraline (liquid, tastes horrible)

Snack -
Two Boiled Eggs
Sauerkraut

Lunch -
Vegetable & Bean Soup (made in bulk then frozen each week)
Tuna/Chicken/Mackeral Salad w Rice Cakes
Sliced Apple, Sliced Banana, Grapes

Dinner -
Protein, Carbs, Lots of Veg (stir fries, homemade curries, rice soups etc)

Dessert -
Chamomile & Valerian Root Tea
Chia Seed Yogurt OR Oatmeal w Berries, Sunflower & Pumpkin Seeds, Crushed Mixed Nuts, Crumbled Dark Chocolate & Honey

Well you’re doing a lot better than me OP!

Dinner with my family is usually my only proper meal most days. Our dinners are well balanced and home cooked the vast majority of the time.

But throughout the day? I’ve just got no appetite. I’ll have a few cups of tea, a red bull mid-afternoon, and snack on carb-heavy stuff around lunchtime - crisps, crackers etc

It all looks fairly normal and healthy to me. What concerns have people raised about it? And do you find the diet works for you? That’s really the most important bit!

Alarmtrees · 08/11/2025 20:44

Some have said it’s too much and others have said it’s not enough! I have an active job

Most of that sounds revolting.

Do you enjoy it?

Are you losing weight (on average)? It's too little.

Are you gaining weight (on average)? It's too much.

If you're roughly maintaining, it's the right amount..

Girasoli · 08/11/2025 20:47

I like your fancy tea tastes OP 😊

I think it sounds very healthy and varied.

Beedeeoh · 08/11/2025 21:04

Well, are you a healthy weight? And are you gaining or losing weight?

If it's about the volume of food it doesn't need to be about anyone's opinion either IRL or on Mumsnet, you can consider it objectively in terms of whether it is putting you at a healthy weight or not.
