I have found a few events happening around over Christmas and planning to take kids.
Things like lantern festival in zoo, but it's costing over £50 for family of 4, some other events are free, like lights switch on.
Wondering what all stuffs everyone has planned? And how much are you spending on these sorts of experiences for DC?

We do the pantomime and a light trail every year (varies which one as there’s quite a few brilliant ones within easy distance of us). Family of three and the panto tickets cost about £150 and the light trail £95 so that’s quite enough in my opinion! DS will come to my Christmas concert (I’m in a local choir) and he’ll have everything going on at school (carol concert, pyjama party, Christmas jumper day etc) so there’s always loads going on.

Just going to the panto this year. We ditched all the light trails, & Christmas craft events etc last year & the run up to Christmas & the holidays were so much better for us all. Less tired, less faff & saved money. Our local NT property is coming up as over £150 for 6 of us to walk the grounds we regularly walk. I’m still scarred by the meltdown Dc1 had a few years ago on a NT light trail years ago & I’m now done with it altogether. Kids were happier as was I.
