It seems quite likely. I definitely did. At 25 I was a penniless graduate student living on pasta in a flat so cold I had to take baths wearing a jumper rolled up above the water line, and dressed in random charity shop nonsense. At 35 I had a salary, better clothes, better food, better skincare, and some clue who I was.

I think the best way (I speak as an oldie) is to enjoy the way you look no matter your age, but looks are only one part of what makes you...you.

The problem with very beautiful people can be that when that beauty diminishes with time, they have lost what they felt was their main asset, and it really shouldn't matter that much.

I think I do too but think it’s partly growing into having your own style.
