To ask about two child parents having an only child ?

I’m the only child of two only child parents - born in the early 70s no less when such a situation was very unusual

@sweeneytoddsrazor I wonder what will happen going forward, regardless of being an only or not, as how many teens/young adults use a phone as a phone? Our uni aged DC don't. It's a real struggle for them if they have to actually phone someone and speak to them! It's all messaging for them. So will they be actually phoning us when we are in our dotage

I have 2 children. And I love them both dearly. The second one is extremely hard work but also exceptionally effectionate which I adore. However, I often feel two was one too many with full time work ans how much time and energy I have for both. I do my best and make sure they are never without, help with both their homework, take them out bond etc. But it means I never really have time for myself etc. Which is fine as I know when they get older I will. But doesn't mean I don't sometimes think wow it would have been easier with just one. 🤷‍♀️
