I like this combination. Dont have it very often but its really nice.

I have a layer of thick butter under that as well.

Lovely

I'm inspired and I'm going to try this on a gluten free nairn oatcakes soon, (with extra mature cheddar & crunchy peanut butter).

I may add a fine layer of vintage marmite first.

I've mixed crunchy peanut butter, strawberry jam and cornflakes up in a bowl before. It turned into a big thick lump and tasted great IMO.

Add apple and have it on a digestive not a cracker.

Im not a fan of digestive if Im honest. I wonder how it would go down on a hobnob though?

Peanut butter, cheese and a some mango chutney on a cracker, Ryvita or digestive. Adhesive yes, but delicious.

Almond butter & cheese on a roll or piece of bread, then 2 minutes under the grill.

Gorgeous.

Peanut butter and marmite is my favourite, on anything really but ideally a crumpet.

Although it’s not so niche any more since they started making marmite flavoured peanut butter (food of the gods btw, but much cheaper to mix your own)

I reckon adding cheese would elevate it so I’m going to try that asap. Tbf adding cheese to anything can only elevate it.

Couldn’t agree more about cucumber with the peanut butter. It really reduces the adhesive effect as well as tasting good. I’m now going to try adding the chili jam. thanks

I am not a fan on their own but with Apple, cheese and peanut butter something magical happens 🤩

Some more excellent ideas here, particularly the mango chutney combo, liking that a lot.
