Wishing you all the best in your recovery.

There is a Facebook group called Hysterectomy Sisters (UK) that really helped me.

Sending love.

Glad to hear all went well OP. Sleep and painkillers are now important. If you’re being bed washed ask for your teeth to be cleaned (wish I had) as a fresh mouth will make you feel so much better. The first poo and trundle down the corridor, tomorrow night if possible, are milestones. When DH collects you get him to bring some cushions - to place under your bottom. over your stomach and over the seat belt - on the journey home in the car. It’s important to pay attention to the advice given by the hospital and not overdo anything in your recovery. Lean on friends and MN. Sending you every best wish. x
