To not understand the whole "6 7" thing and to feel uneasy about it

Could anyone explain it please? I feel about 100 and I'm a bit worried it's something my kids shouldn't know about - or maybe I should?

OP posts:

I've started using it in school. It stuns them. Hopefully now the oldies are using it too it will go the way of last year's Skibidi and fade into a distant memory. It is sooooo annoying though. 😂

A local headteacher used it in a podcast and I am hoping that does the trick of making it so uncool kids stop using it!!
Those poor maths teachers

ToriTheStoryteller · 22/10/2025 15:16

We haven't had this in the house, our phrase of the month is "imagine ..." preceeding EVERYTHING.

DS: "imagine having to go swimming tonight"
Mate: "imagine having to stay at home tonight"

🤣

Its the a common height of a basketball player, that name it into a Rap song, that then became a meme before becoming a meaningless saying.

Its a benign one.

This is what my kids told me - they showed me some high speed nonsense YouTube clip to support the claim 😂

Nah, comments like your one is.

It’s utter nonsense that they hear on TikTok and therefore assume it’s Funny and Clever and something they Must Do.

I had a y8 class the other week and one of them said he’d been told off for yelling out the number 67. Then saying 6 7 to reiterate what he meant. I said something like “I imagine sir is a bit fed up of the TikTok stupidity”. To which another replied “But miss, we were doing prime numbers, and 67 is a prime number”. Grin And another “See, we do pay attention!”

Couldn’t stop giggling at that which I probably shouldn’t have done. I felt for the maths teachers. But at the same time, I was reminded how much I enjoy my working with teenagers!

I'm in Wales but in English medium schools (peripatetic role). I find copying the action but saying 'chwech saith' adds to the cringe factor and stops them saying it. 😉

I think we have kids of the same age. Bombardino crocodilo is another annoying one.

How about Noobini Pizzanini?! 😂

everychildmatters · 22/10/2025 15:10

I've read it's a code for "ho". Don't know how true that is!

No it isn't. It quite literally doesn't mean anything. It's reference to a video of a kid at a basketball game which went viral. Similar to skibidi toilet.

OP just because you don't understand something you shouldn't feel uneasy, a simple Google would have given you the information you need.

Clarinet1 · 22/10/2025 15:32

I hadn’t come across this before but there have always been trends like this - anyone renember “Are you with me?” “No, I’m with the Woolwich!”?

DesparatePragmatist · 22/10/2025 15:34

I need to know what the action is.

I can still induce crippling levels of cringe in my teen by saying "keep it lemon" and pointing randomly.

6 7 + action looks like it has equal potential

That’s really horrible. They’re just kids being kids, no need for nasty name calling.

OK, I've googled it. The action is like juggling invisible oranges. Teen cringe, here I come

has it though because shit like this went round when I was at school and there was no social media

Same here and I was at school in the 60s. It was probably more localised then.

Keepoffmyartichokes · 22/10/2025 15:42

I say to my 13 year old to annoy him. It's a stupid thing that's caught on it's the height of some basketball player. Nothing more sinister than that. I got my son a banner for his 13th which said This Skibbiddi Rizzler is 13, No Cap he loved it 🤣🤣
