Having just seen this article, and now maybe people will start to believe her, especially on the back of those clips we’ve all seen of Pete’s bad behaviour towards her.

The only people I feel sorry for are her poor kids and that child who has accused him. I can only imagine how difficult it must have been for those kids to grow up in that level of dysfunction. Katie herself had a very difficult childhood, and adulthood, but she had an obligation to protect her kids from it and sort herself out. She has let her kids down, massively.

I don't see what it says about her other than she has consistently appalling taste in men. Where do the two kids she has with the rapist paedo live?

Being married to a shit of a human doesn’t mean you get to behave like a shit of a human.

KP is absolutely appalling - have you seen some of her behaviours? The animals she has killed? Her kids have been taken off her. She’s an absolute train wreck. I feel so bad for her children. Not sure she cares about them at all tho. Sad state of affairs.

I also don’t understand why you have to pick a side. He’s a shit. And so is she.

It’s like we still gave to identify the goody and the baddy in every relationship. So, if someone’s a baddy the other is obviously a goody. It’s a throwback to when divorces had to find fault with one person or the other. But divorce law doesn’t work like that any more and real life never has done.

She’s a proven abuser of animals and of neglect to her children, has endangered peoples lives by continually driving whilst on drugs and alcohol and is altogether a shit person.

These two issues are separate.

Maybe they have the understanding to know that someone suffering from trauma, low self esteem, and needing validation in their lives, are not best placed mentally to make the most sound of decisions, when it comes to choosing a partner. I am no supporter of anybody, just a person, who refuses to not acknowledge what could be driving her self destructive behaviour.

I get so sick of people making excuses for her. Two wrongs don't make a right. I also don't see how Kieran Hayler being charged with a heinous crime means that Peter Andre is more to blame than Katie for the breakdown of their marriage. KP clearly has MH issues, and body image issues, that's been plain to see for many years, most definitely prior to Kieran or Alex were in her life. She is a grown adult, and is responsible for her own behaviour, no one else. There maybe reasons why she makes dreadful choices in life, but they don't excuse her behaviour. Princess, Junior, Jett and Bunny were all taken away from her care. There has to be justified reasons for that to happen to all 4 children. Keiran has admitted himself he behaved badly during his marriage to KP, he admitted he cheated several times. There's no question that he's a womaniser. However, that is vastly different to a child abuser, and at the moment until the trial starts no one knows if the allegations are true or not. Clearly if he's been arrested and charged, the CPS believe there is a good chance of a conviction based on the evidence put forward by the police.

She picked them, she has appalling taste in men and seems to live in a fantasy world. What is she or isn't she justified about?

This is Mumsnet. If a man acts badly it's because he's a narcissistic abuser and he is solely responsible for his actions. If a woman acts badly it's because she is/was/probably in a relationship with a narcissistic abuser and he is solely responsible for her actions.

I know someone who worked for her. She was not nice, and her mucky mansion truly was as she let the dogs and cat shit anywhere and everywhere. That was while her younger kids were living with her, no husband, just boyfriend 30123666, that she'd moved in, as usual, after weeks of knowing him. And she was cheating on him.

She's a vile woman, and the only person to blame for that is her.

I hope justice I done with regards to Kieran, again my sympathy is with the victim, and Kieran's kids.

I believe that if a woman came on here and said:

I was left by the man that got me pregnant at age 20ish, who then demanded a paternity test and refused to see his disabled, high needs child. I married someone that verbally and occasionally physically abused me (we watched Pete do this in real time, not up for discussion, there’s video evidence) He divorced me and claimed I cheated even though I didn’t and the man and his now ex-wife that he claims I cheated with both maintain it’s untrue. I then married a man that cheated on me
multiple times with friends and employees that I paid wages to. I then married a man that turned out wanted to dress as a woman in public. I’ve lost my mind, I’ve done bad things, my self image is shattered, I’m broken.

That there would be a plethora of women that would say ‘There’s no wonder you’ve had mental health issues after you’ve been treated so badly.’

But for some reasons some people cannot sympathise with her, misogyny in the reporting of her for decades perhaps? Pete’s saintly imagine and PR machine perhaps? I’m not sure really but I do know that nothing that she has done is unforgivable in my opinion and I think she deserves some sympathy.

Fathers 4 Justice have documented the social services involvement against KP. The pictures of what she does for a living in Dubai are available on the internet, and very very gross. The sex tapes leaked on the internet from years ago are also cringe worthy. Apart from Harvey, all the other kids are in custody of parents and grandparents. It would only for a trial and jury to determine if the allegations against her former husband are true. She seems to attract people who are just like her. KP has a big thirst for fame, and picks men according to their potential to bring her headlines in the media to keep the cash rolling in. I do not believe she is capable of love and affection towards anyone, and attention is withdrawn when something new and shiny walks in the door to captivate her. A classic case of someone with considerable wealth, who failed to plan for the rainy day of when the modelling was all over. All those people and companies she failed to pay by the fact she was bankrupt. Currently turning herself into Frankenstein by plastic surgery to get more attention from the media. As someone who has had considerable medical surgery myself to save my life, I have much painful scar tissue/ nerve damage and it makes me baffled that anyone would put themselves through all these procedures for vanity. To be fair, she may have profound mental health issues, and the surgeons willing to do this should be struck off. However, she cannot look after kids or animals, and just craves attention from the media at all costs to everyone in her life. I feel very sorry for her children. If you listen to some of her podcasts, nothing is ever her fault and she always blames her partners, former managers and so on for everything that went wrong in her life. It is hardly a good starting point to engaging with therapy and acknowledging the root of the problem is within, as a place to start changing.

Who is excusing that?
