Induction hob emergency

Please help! I am about to cook for 10 people who have paid good money for my cooking and I can’t make more than 1 of these rings work on this stupid induction hob.

AIBU to ask WTF do I press?!

The on switch bottom right seems to turn the bottom right ring on. Pressing the top 4 buttons does absolutely nothing. I can change the temperature of bottom right fine with the + and - buttons.

Help.

I opened this thread thinking 'how the fuck can you have a hob emergency '. But you didn't disappoint.

Don’t use them near anyone that’s got a pacemaker. 😳. I had to get rid of mine and go back to (the better) ceramic 🤷‍♀️🙄

top buttons are to select what hob/ring
the + and - buttons are to increase and reduce the temp/number of the selected hob/ring

Guys it’s working!! I googled the instruction manual and it turns out instead of violently jabbing / poking the top buttons like a madwoman you need to gently lay a flat finger across the top applying no pressure whatsoever.

Thank fuck for that. And thank you for the support. I’m back to cooking on my 4 ring hob now 😅

Yes my Mum has one like this in Spain. After you turn on with the power button you touch the circle with arrow and you can move between the rings. Press to toggle through the rings until you get to the ring you want. Then touch the + button which turns the temp to max, then use the - button to turn down to desired temperature.
