Why does anyone want clothes with whatever supposed inspirational / suggestive / brand name slogan emblazoned across them?

I would honestly rather wear a bin bag.

YABU = they are great
YANBU = they are stupid

Oh the irony! You telling someone else to mind their own business when you're the knd butting in! Do you not think a teenage girl can stand up for herself?

Responding to a post I disagree with on a public discussion forum is hardly 'butting in', is it? It's precisely what this place is for, there's literally a button for doing exactly that.

Do you not think a teenage girl can stand up for herself?

Some will, some won't. Some might have a go back, some might get quite upset by it.

It's probably best to just avoid hassling random teenagers girls on the street because you've made an assumption about their musical knowledge based on their t-shirt.

Or do you disagree? Would love to know why if so!

I quite like a slogan or band tee, although absolutely not one with any sort of inspirational quote or mention of kindness on it. I'm currently wearing one with a famous line from Mean Girls.

What i meant was you would be butting in if you saw someone commenting on someone else's t-shirt by telling them to mind their own business!

I don't care what people wear. Sometimes it's the design of the slogan or words that look quite good, not the band name itself. I saw a Ramones t-shirt in Primark & really liked the actual design, the fact it had the name of a band of whom I couldn't name 1 song by didn't really matter

Some people just are unable to do other than follow what is or perceived to be a latest fashion. Remember all those who cut off the bottom of jeans in about 2018 or 2019 as an example.

If you’re talking about the Emma Freud jumpers with ‘KIND’ on the front at M&S that are £140 I completely agree with you.

That was indeed what tipped me over the edge.
Who buys this shite?

I’m currently lying in bed in a Ramones T-shirt.

I’m very old though, so it’s ok.

I’m slobbing about in my Ice Nine Kills t shirt.
Im very old too. 😂

I have become more inclined towards slogan-y stuff of late.

I have a CHOOSE LOVE t-shirt, and a Hope not Hate sweatshirt, which are both recent purchases. Both come from charities which support refugees, and suggest that I am not interested in any hateful rhetoric, so twats give me a wide berth. They were a bit of a protest purchase.
