To throw away throat sprays after illness?

So, I’m talking about the chloraseptic sprays for a sore throat. They have the long nozzle to direct the spray to the back of your throat meaning when you use them you are ill and inserting the nozzle into your mouth. Obviously when you are ill with a sore throat your mouth and nose are riddled with germs, that’s why we are so careful about coughs and sneezes so I have always disposed of a spray at the end of an illness, assuming it’s, for want of a better word “contaminated” and not safe to put back in the medicine cabinet for another time. My friend says I’m horribly wasteful and as long as the medicine isn’t expired, it’s fine to “re-use” so to speak. What do you do?
IANBU - to throw away at the end of an illness, this is the cost of feeling better at the time
IABU - I am wasteful and throwing away money, not being environmentally thoughtful

I think its only 6ish weeks you can keep them once they are opened so binning it is sensible, fwiw I always use an antiseptic wipe after I've used them or the first defence nose spray i always think id just be reintroducing the virus
