To challenge the BBC to have a feature on the Muslim fun run excluding females over 12

As far as I’m aware there’s been no interview with anyone or panel discussion about the mosque which organised a fun run in a public park in East London for any age males and only females under the age of 12. Newsnight / the Today program on Radio 4 / or hey, here’s an idea - Woman’s Hour - how about reporting on this news item affecting women? Women are equal to men in law. Isn’t this flagrantly wrong and worthy of more than just the briefest article reporting the facts?

Or as one of the preselected questions on Question Time?

Did you want to take part and were refused?

Our taxes support this charity 😥

KHADIJA KHAN: Despite what Sadiq Khan claims, we ARE creeping towards Islamic law.

The liberal Left may not want to hear it, but there is a straight line between a seemingly innocent charity run and the horrors of so-called honour killings, or even the grooming gangs scandal.
These are not isolated incidents. They stem from the same toxic ideology, that women are inherently 'less'.
So yes, I'm outraged. But I'm also profoundly saddened – because behind the headlines are thousands of women and girls still denied the freedom to run, swim, cycle or enjoy the simplest pleasures of life.

I know, because I was one of them. Growing up in a strict Muslim household in Pakistan, I remember the joy of riding my bike in the street.
But when I complained to my father that a group of boys had jeered at me for being so permissive, he told me in no uncertain terms that I was the problem and banned me from cycling ever again. I was eight years old.

The BBC pander to the liberal Left who prefer not want to hear it.

@Didyousaysomethingdarling
that must have been so tough having your fun taken away at the age of 8 like that by your father.
what about the fathers in this fun run- there must have been some with early age teens. Didn’t they feel unfair if their sons could run but not their daughters?

Yes, definitely worth complaining to the BBC via their complaints page. They are supposed to serve the British licence fee payers. Instead they continually push their own agenda.
