Smelly dog - candles etc!

A new little pup has joined our family and we are all obsessed with him!

But…I’m quite house proud, in particular the smell. I really don’t want our house to smell like dog! He is a little wire haired terrier and doesn’t shed.

Any tips would be welcome please! Sand and Paws candles are burning often, as well as Next Country Retreat diffusers.

Price's chefs candle is effective. (not the tealights though)

Scented candles, plug ins and essential oils are all bad for dogs. Just keep him clean with unscented shampoo, wash bedding and open windows.

Bath him. With proper dog shampoo, obviously, and rinse thoroughly. Won't do him any harm at all. Brush him daily to minimise shedding. Washable throws on sofas and beds, and shampoo your carpets regularly.

Avoid plug ins, they caused horrible hot spots on our dog.
A lot of the scents and oils in diffusers are bad for dogs.
We just bath ours regularly, Groom Professional shampoos and conditioners can be found on Amazon at a great price, especially if you bulk buy the 5l bottles.

The Ruff and Tumble dog towelling wraps are great for after bath time too!

They are also bad for humans and just mask the smell. They don’t imply a clean house, they imply a dirty house. Sorry!
