To be sick of plop, run and never return threads

Seems to be so many threads where the OP writes a contentious/controversial post, the thread gets loads of traffic and runs to 20 pages but the OP never comes back. My cynical opinion is that they’re planted for clicks and traction.

Ploppers are annoying, but avoidable by checking the OP's post.

I enhot a nice dripfeed, but it is soo annoying if posters on 10+ pages thread don't check all OP's post and react only on the first post.
