Christmas dustpan n brush anyone?

The Range has a section of brushes, buckets, cleaning pads with Christmas decor on them.

What is bloody wrong with these idiots who spend money on these things? They are not going to clean any better than an everyday brush!

If it makes people happy then what is the problem?
I'd only have issue with it if they threw it out after Christmas. If someone wants Christmas pillows/dustpan/soap dispensers/duvets etc and reuses them each year then it's no more wasteful than using the same type all year round. It'll extend the lifespan of the regular ones for the 2 or so months they're out of use each year.
We have Christmas soap dispensers and doormats.

More money than sense, but it's a free country.

A Christmas dustpan and brush probably gets the same or a lot more use than a Christmas eve box or Christmas pj's or a Christmas stocking or indeed a tree/lights/other decorations....

Same with jewellery or clothes that are only worn once or twice, which inevitably cost a lot more money than a plastic dustpan.

Unless you literally never buy anything that isn't strictly utilitarian then you're probably being a bit hypocritical.

It's consumerism at its best, but it's none of your business what people want to spend their money on.
