Should I take my dog to the Vet for limping

My Dog attends dog day care and returned home all ok no limping at all, goes in the garden and about a hour later came in limping on his left foot but seemed very well within himself. As he was in the garden, all 4 paws were checked and we could not see nothing in any of his paws. Does not seem to be in any pain at all but is limping on his left foot but also seems to be running around which we have stopped him from doing as much as we can. Eating & drinking ok no temperature at all. We have read online that he needs a few days of rest and he should be fine however should we get him checked out at Vets tomorrow? Or see how he gets on after few days? Garden or no garden? Thanks everyone

Give it a few days. Gentle exercise and no zoomies in the garden.
If this was you with the limp, would you be going to the doctors straight away, or would you be trying rest etc first?

Agree. If you have any anti inflammatory meds for him then consider giving him a dose tomorrow if he’s still lame.

I would rest it first thanks for your advice

My dog did this, I took him to the vet, paid £££ for sedation and xray. Next day he's fine running around like nothing happened!😆 Give it a few days, he may have just hurt it playing at daycare

I paid about £400 to investigate a limp that turned out to be nothing at all.
Dogs can't say "hey mum, I stood on a stone and it fucking hurt so I am going to limp for hours" or "I twisted my knee when doing zoomies". They limp, we panic, we pay £££ to the vet and the dog is fine the next day.
We don't go to the GP or A&E if we are limping for a day.

Happy to hear your dog made a miraculous recovery after a Vet visit 😂
DH thinks he may have overused his energy at the DayCare and hurt himself in our garden at home
