I reckon this is true having looked at some opinions across the internet. But feel free to challenge if you disagree - make sure to provide a number please.

@Myrtletown on another thread today you said a poster had

"made up a number from various sources and data she doesn’t quite understand and then asked people to prove it’s wrong, its like me saying ‘there were 12,000 horses born without a tail in the last 5 years, if you disagree then prove me wrong with a stat".

How ironic.

Amazing statistic you have just pulled out of your arse…!

Myrtletown · 04/10/2025 15:04

Im open for discussion though - this is a discussion site

There is no way those site include any data from which you can draw the conclusions you have come to.

I see what you are doing now. You are trying to prove that these can't be used to draw conclusions about mass migration and therefore that any concerns expressed about mass migration should be dismissed.

PinkFrogss · 04/10/2025 15:09

OP you’ve forgotten to quote posters to tell them if they have evidence to the contrary their post isn’t relevant Wink

ErrorCode350 · 04/10/2025 15:14

Grow the fuck up. Given the events of the last few days you thought it was a good idea to stir the pot a little bit more?

Ohgodohgod · 04/10/2025 15:16

QuietlyFrench · 04/10/2025 14:32

I’d be very surprised if they “identified” as racists. Most racists will deny they’re racist because, you know, one of their friends is black; they just want to protect our kids / women / public services; take our country back, etc.

What does 'racist' mean?

ginasevern · 04/10/2025 15:41

You can't just throw a figure into the ring OP, you need to back it up. I also seriously doubt that many people "identify" as racist. I mean c'mon. You also need to define the meaning of racist in this context. Is everyone who is alarmed by mass immigration a racist? Are some of them just genuinely concerned about stretched public services and housing, regardless of race or colour?

How did you come to that conclusion? I’ve not mentioned anything about numbers?

To calculate a percentage, you need to have used numbers

lnks · 04/10/2025 16:03

I’m not sure why I keep replying. This whole thread is an attempt at a ‘gotcha’.

JHound · 05/10/2025 12:04

This so perfectly mirrors so many of the anti-immigrant posters here! 😂

“The figures are definitely true! It’s on the ONS - don’t ask me to link to it, look for yourself!”

or my favourite

”The figures are true - I can tell from walking around London!”

😄😄😄😄

Myrtletown · 05/10/2025 13:00

@JHound i think I’ve proved it’s true. I told you I looked at the ONS and YouGov and I do plenty of walking I tell you
