do any other women feel angry at how the police treated them now culture expposed.

Someone in a position of power over me said that i should kill myself to make the world a better place. The police did not take evidence and only half heartedly investigated another crime where i could have died. How many women in society are victims
of the culture?

the police made some horrific comments to me.
you are lucky you were mot raped and pregnant
its not worth police time to investigate. While medical evidence says you could have died you are clearly still alive

The system here is a mess. A friend of mine was sexually assaulted on public transport. She tried to press charges, but was discouraged because whilst the accused would have benefitted from anonymity, she as the victim wouldn’t. And she has an unusual name and would have been highly identifiable due to her work, making her a target so she didn’t in the end. And regrets it but it was weighing up her safety against a case that would likely still not get a just result because that’s where we are. I don’t blame her but the system that creates this issue is just fucked. Add a police force full of people who turn out to be guilty of SA as well, who create a misogynistic culture etc, it’s looking so dire. I’m so so sorry you had to experience their horrific comments and views and were denied the justice you deserve. And nothing seems to be improving.

IMO the majority of men in positions of power either hate or have little respect for women.

Exactly that. It’s a system that inherently puts the onus on the victim to place themselves in danger beyond what they already experienced, just so they can say “well no one is pursuing it”.
