To think the majority of England need retraining on how to drive on a motorway

So I've just been on a trip from Dover to the North and back again.
I learnt to drive in England but I have driven more of my life in Europe.
WHY THE HELL DONT PEOPLE MOVE OVER TO SLOWER LANES?!
Honestly, the amount of people that just sit in the middle when the left lane has about 2 miles of nothing in... or are driving slower in one of the middle lanes than the left lane over....
Or just sits in the right most lane for absolutely no real reason other than they can?
It stops people from actually being able to over take safely and just conjests the whole road. No wonder you all have road rage 🤣🤣

I find it increasingly hard to overtake the seemingly endless crawl of lorries. I find if you dare try to you can go for over 6 or 7 miles being unable to get back in to the left, leaving me in fear of missing a junction

Yes I can relate to that. Or missing a service area.

In my defence if I don’t knows motorway I get stressed that my slow lane will unexpectedly disappear.

If the Police ANPR is able to do this why is the same system doing bugger all about all those middle lane hogger offenders ?

Because the problem isn't as significant as people claim it is. And certainly not if you stick to the speed limit.

Yes some people really do stay in the middle lane for miles. They are a pain.

But others are there because they are going past slower traffic.
Because they know the lane disappears.
Because they don't want that lane because it joins another motorway/is a slip road etc
Because they are leaving space for people to join the motorway.

Okay, so to clarify
Understand there is no such thing as s slower lane. It just so happens that the left in England is slower as that's where lorries and such drive who legally have to drive below the limit, ie 60 not 70
And the land on which you return once over taking which usually happens with more speed.
I've read a few comments on here about hogging the middle lane so you don't get stuck in the left without a way to get out, but returning back to lane would solve this problem. That was the whole point
Also, you all need to give each other more space haha, it's bumper to bumper madness
