Salary £27K on 22 hours

I am going back to work after maternity on £27K on 22 hours. I used to do 26 hours but need childcare so needed to reduce it. If I did full time, I’d be on £45K (never worked full time in this role).

Is this low for 22 hours or is it okay?

I mean I get 28k for 22 hours 9 months the year term time only

DBIL gets 28k for 40 hour weeks including night shifts

I'd say its good!

@Dinosaursare I work term time only , 22.5 hrs a week and earn just over 16k.

Are you a teacher?

I'm in a junior compliance role and on £27.5k for the same hours so about right.

Ne careful you don't let your hours creep up, I have to be very strict about not working my days off.
