Last Christmas we bought DSS 17 a pair of GA oasis tickets, plus flights and hotels. For him and a mate / GF. DH and I also got tickets but we couldn’t all get GA and we were just lucky to get them. Now 9 months on DSS hasn’t asked anyone. Everytime we ask, it’s I haven’t decided yet. Flights are now starting to get very expensive (his flight and hotel is booked), he doesn’t want to take his GF because she’s seen everyone and doesn’t think she would appreciate this 🤦🏼‍♀️. Last weekend he said he wants to take his Dad, and for me to take one of DH’s mates or his brother. We’ve asked, but both are working or don’t want to spend the money on hotel rooms etc. I’ve asked my friends and all are either working or have tickets. We’ve tried to get another GA ticket and all stand together but needless to say - impossible. Oasis have romantic significance for us and DH doesn’t want me to be on my own. AIBU to push him to take a mate/GF and stick to the original plan or sell his GA ticket and let him go in alone?
