Abusive ex rival claim child benefit

My ex put in a claim after I did for child benefit and because I put the claim in first I was awarded the child benefit. I noticed today (phoned child benefit) that I haven't been paid for about 3 months.
They say they need evidence now that the child lives with me ( her mother) and will send out forms to both parties to complete with evidence. Who I can I use for evidence? Currently speaking to the doctor, women's aid, another organisation and obviously the health visitor comes to the house ? My daughter is nearly 6 months , so not in nursery. Who will I use to provide evidence she lives with me?
I have only just applied for UC as I'm on low maternity pay. He has contributed nothing and since I applied to child maintenance he has accused me of ripping him off..
Any way I'm going to start the legal process to get things in place.
Does the CB get backdated in such cases?
I'm not allowing my daughter near her father because as previously mentioned he withheld her passport.

Just want to know basically about child benefit and who to get evidence from that she lives with me? Also if he doesn't complete the form will my form be enough with my evidence or would they still require his evidence ( he has none).

Please inform me ???

Ring child benefit and ask them what proof they need.

Is she registered with a GP?
That will be under her name and show her address.
Edit: sorry I see you've spoken to the doctors.
Basically though if she is clearly registered with the same address as you then hopefully it will be obvious she lives with you.

If she's only six months old I'd also point out that its highly unlikely that she spends most of her time at her father's-do you have any police records to confirm he's abusive ? That may help prove the point that its high unlikely that she doesn't live with you full time

I have a victim card that was given to me with an incident number , but I have never made a statement

You mean highly likely that she lives with me full time?
