Of course immigration numbers have plummeted; the article points to fewer Ukrainian refugees coming now after the initial 200k, and similarly with the Afghan resettlement scheme which has already brought over the majority of those known to have assisted UK troops (and a fair few who probably didn’t).

Not to mention well over a quarter of a million “workers” with their dependents.
Even with falling immigration numbers, these people still need homes, infrastructure, support services, school places, water, food… are you happy for councils to rip through your local greenbelt to build on, or drive your children further to school, or reduce your water use, and sit on more crowded busses/roads? These are the issues we are all facing, without even considering the nearly 100k asylum seekers who fully rely on state support while being processed, and then most likely after too.
