Blimey, that model looks a very slim s16. She may be, it is just curiosity on my part.

What a daft post. It is obviously a Facebook market place listing. The seller has just linked to the page of the website she bought it from. Nobody is trying to say the model is a size 16. It is no different to going into literally any clothing retailers website. They will show an image of the dress then you would select your size. It wouldn't change the image that you saw when you selected the size.

The picture is of the dress on a model. The dress size being sold is 16.

Or do you know of clothes websites where they photograph every size available on different sized models?!

I'm in Canada, and a few clothing sites have actually started showing the same item of clothing on a variety of different size models (Old Navy, Smash and Tess for example). I think Lucy and Yak in the UK does this too.

I wouldn’t expect photos of a clothing item for every different size on sale. They usually just use one model and occasionally state her size or measurements. This lady is not size 16 but YABU to think the seller of the clothes is trying to say she is. That will just be the photo they use for all sizes

They're selling the size 16 version of that dress. That is the standard catalogue image. You aren't going to magically look like that when you put it on.

Goddammit!! 😤

If that's a 16 I look forward to going up a couple of dress sizes!
