To be completely obsessed by the band Idles?

I only really discovered them this week, and I’m spending every spare minute I have watching their interviews and live performances. Can a band really change your life?

I'm not a fan as I really don't like the singer's voice, but each to their own.

Also, the lead singers bedtime story on CBeebies is just the best

This is all a bit embarrassing OP, they're average at best.

I don’t think they’re any special - same stuff you’d have found on a cheap punk compilation CD back in the day - but of course, you’re not being unreasonable to love the em. I wish I could find a band to be obsessed with again, like I was when I discovered Nirvana as a teen!

That’s what they said about Einstein and De Vinci at the time, and they were WRONG. I know genius when I feel it…

Love them. Seen them live 5 or 6 times and they are brilliant, so energetic, and bloody talented. I’m only sad that they play bigger venues now so less of an intimate feel than the earlier gigs I went too.

I was also a massive Nirvana fan but don't get Idles at all.

I'm so glad I don't like Future Islands' music, I couldn't bear to watch Mr Crab Dance.
