I don’t understand this at all. Are Snag just getting weirder and weirder or what?

OP posts:

OP, I agree that it’s a weird and unprofessional approach. However, judging by all the sycophantic comments on there, it clearly had the desired effect!

Why are you acting so weird?

And annoying.

Is pretty odd, she seems overly invested. Are people here mostly 95 or something, oddly precious about clicking a bloody link, wtaf.

A Facebook link doesn't work unless you have a Facebook account. Likewise tik tok or Instagram. I'm not on any SM platforms so clicking on it wouldn't work for me.

I also think it's strange to take link from one platform and post it on another for discussion. Surely it can be discussed within the platform it's on? I think OP here is marketing the product, this is just another form of click bait. So no, I absolutely would not click on the link even if it did work.

I can only assume that some posters were pissed or sleep deprived judging by some of the ridiculous responses in the early hours. Agree OP - very odd!

It’s cute that you think not wanting to click a random link is reserved for nonagenarians.

LoafofSellotape · 06/09/2025 10:30

Given what horrific things pop up on MN I think it's sensible not to click on a random link.

TY78910 · 06/09/2025 10:39

OP ignore all the posters that say you’re posting ‘weird links’. You can clearly see it’s from Facebook so it’s hardly going to be sinister. Making a big hoohar over nothing.

I agree, it’s weird. Her acting isn’t great. For a business owner you have to expect a level of negative feedback, and you shouldn’t discredit your customers in a public video using emotional blackmail.

‘Reality’ advertising has become more and more popular - eg a ‘real’ person doing a review in their own house, looking like an amateur video as traditional over edited advertising is less and less effective. This however was bizarre, and I’m not commenting on the size of the woman, as it’s clearly a product for that demographic. It was the tone and the whole ‘im doing this right now because I’m distressed in my bathroom in the middle of the night’.
