Husband Vs Sat Nav...AIBU

I have had a reasonably new car and today went to collect a child from a friend's house with my husband in my car. I had previously stated I had got lost going to this place before and put my Sat Nav on. For my husband to turn it off saying the voice was annoying and HE WOULD BE THE SAT NAV instead. He then proceeded to tell me the directions all the way there..like a Sat Nav would...AIBU to think this is strange behaviour???

When we were in holiday recently the satnav kept making mistakes and apologising!

Since a holiday, out in the wilds of Pembrokeshire, we’ve gone back to using a road map for more isolated locations. The satnav was taking us the quickest route, but often down very minor roads I wouldn’t have opted to use.

What a plank!!!

I do. This is because it means I don't have to keep looking at it and taking my eyes off the road.

That’s nothing. Yesterday I had the car’s sat nav, DH’s sat nav and DH barking instructions. 🤪

Did they all send you in the same direction ?

No but we got there in the end. I had to lie down in a darkened room when we got home. 🤣

Why ask us and not your husband?
