Still two weeks to go and I’m really starting to flag. Energy levels are low and so is my bank account!

@WilliamBell - DS starts school in September. My DD is at nursery year round but she only attends two days a week and because of various events and bank holidays she has had a couple of weeks only there once. So I’m definitely feeling it! I’m hoping next year will be easier, at three and five.

DS had GCSE’s this year so has been off since mid June. DD broke up the start of July. They both do alot of athletics so that’s helped, I also rather conveniently got made redundant at the end of June so had July and August off, starting a new job next Monday. It’s been a great summer really, I was lucky to find another job quickly so no real money worries and lovely to be off all summer. We all desperately need to get back to a sense of normality now though, there’s only so much loafing about we can do!

8 weekdays here, mine are 12 & 14 so it’s been the easiest summer holidays yet, we’ve been away but there’s a bit too much sitting in bedrooms on phones/Xbox creeping in now.

Very (very) fortunately, we have Coldplay at Wembley as a grand finale next weekend!
