AIBU to pull out of house purchase at the 11th hour due to reeves

We can due to exchange next week and I’m really considering pulling out given the general mess of the UK economy and the potential extra tax that have been suggested. Am I be ridiculous? Husband is team buy.

We have changed our minds about moving and are now going to hold off to see what the witch has in store before we take the plunge.

Reeves is spectacularly under qualified, and she is doing a ghastly job. The country is going backwards now. We were in reasonable shape but they have killed growth overnight. Listen to your instincts. Don’t risk it. The sellers might be upset for a day or two (it’s happened to us) but they will get over it. You have to work with the facts.
