To think the Strictly celebrity line up is absolutely dire this year?

I’ve heard of 3 out of the 15 “celebrities”. If this is the best they can come up with then the show must be on its last legs. I think the brand must have been fatally damaged by the business with Giovanni and Graziano.

And the leftie luvvies can continue to have their disproportionate focus and air time.

They've been flogging the dead horse for at least a decade. It's well past time they came up with some new ideas.
And all the "cross platform promotion" they do for it is super annoying and cringe inducing.

I think they’ve blown the budget on the Celebrity Traitors lineup (which is so much better) so Strictly is feeling the pinch. Definitely the least impressive lineup in recent years.

I think shows like this have ran out of decent celebs to use, as most of them who'd be interested have done it. I watched the most recent SAS. I've never watched it before but other than four people I think it was, the rest were people just off other reality programmes like love island, the traitors etc.

Because they are trying to minimise the problems they have had with male professionals.

I've just actually looked at the line up for strictly, there's quite a few decent people on there I recognise. Definitely better than the sas line up.

Because it’s not feminist! The trend is to use gender-neutral terms for jobs. Quite right, too!

They used to be 2 weeks of the first dance. Some years, it was the ladies, then the men. Another time, they did one half on Friday and the other half on Saturday.

I do agree that the first few weeks are too long. I have usually noticed that the couple who danced 2nd, 3rd or 4th were usually in the bottom 2 as viewers forget about them. Remember the first.

I’m also sick of drag queens being shoehorned into every reality show. Since when was performing womanface acceptable

I wrote my post about womanface thinking I’d be the only one to hate drag but it seems there are lots of us.

I really hate woman face. It’s so insulting.

And all the celebrities did either a waltz or cha cha cha, if I remember correctly. In recent years some celebs have done barely any ballroom. And the couple’s choice needs to go.

It does seem like the definition of celebrity is very loose these days. Apparently there will be a convicted drug mule on Celebrity SAS.

Who cares if you've heard of them? I've never heard of many celebs on IACGMOOH but totally fell in love with some of them (Sam Thompson & Tony Bellew spring to mind!). The main thing is they are entertaining

I HATE Couple's Choice - just a free pass for the hopeless dancers. We rarely see proper ballroom dancing now it's all free style bollocks.

Yes I remember couples alternating between Latin and Ballroom until around Halloween. Then did dances that not done yet.

The only face I recognise is the man that was in the apprentice. Can’t believe that qualifies him as a celebrity now. I refuse to celebrate him as one. Lol.

Was a huge fan for many years. I didn’t watch last year and won’t be watching this year.

But non-celebs would be as, if not more entertaining. These people are paid a lot to be on tv and the tv licence fee keeps getting higher and higher.
