Lazy partner

Partner on 3-11 shift all week while I work 9-5. I get home to find washing up in the sink, draining board still full of the washing up I did yesterday that could have been put away. Loo roll empty - too lazy to even remove it and pop a new one on. Recycling bag full to brim, has left empty cereal box on the side - wouldn’t dream of taking it down to empty. Food waste bin full - again wouldn’t think to take it down and change the bag. Dry washing still on clothes dryer - yes the jeans still a little damp but the rest fine, could have put it away but didn’t. Little things but it’s really starting to grate, I feel like I’m just the housekeeper here 😩

Is he seriously disabled or is he one of those useless twats who think everything he doesn't want to do is "women's work"?

Put him on notice to get his shit sorted and pull his weight or ship out.

Christ, I can't bear waste-of-space men.

Time to reassess the relationship and explain to your dp in very short simple words why you are doing so.

I texted to say you could have done X, Y, Z and I just get ‘Sorry, leave it and I’ll do it when I get back’
Well I can’t leave it can I - I need to use food bin/recycling bin so will have to empty them. I know if it’s mentioned again I’ll be called a moaner. I feel like a mug. I am a mug 😩
