Sneak Peek Accuracy

Just a quick update. I posted on here a few weeks back with my 12 week and 1 day scan. I had a mixture of opinions. Tbf the nub isn’t imaged well. I sent it off to a few different companies and got girl. Sadly this got my hopes up.

At 13 weeks I decided to do Sneak Peek- it came back last night as boy. After having two boys already, it’s safe to say I’m going through the ‘gender disappointment. How accurate has everyone found Sneak Peek? I’m so grateful to have this baby but it’s my last so I can’t help but feel that disappointment. I’m almost praying the Sneak Peek got contaminated as we’ve got 4 boys in the house including the cat!! 😂😂 Any boy mummas out there send me wise words please! Xx

I know two people who used it. Was correct for both. If it makes you feel any better you will be completely happy with three boys. I have four girls and although of course a boy would have been nice I got what I was supposed to get 😃 congratulations on your new baby!

Kindly, you need to move on. You can't change anything so just try and accept things are what they are.

I think it’s most likely correct unless you weren’t very careful when doing the test. I did a sneak peek test for my first pregnancy and it said boy which was correct. I have also done it with this pregnancy and it said boy again. I’m only 11 weeks pregnant so it’s too early to confirm with a scan. I have wondered myself if I could have contaminated it because I have my husband, son and dog in the house so lots of males. But I was very careful and cleaned everything thoroughly before doing the test so I’m expecting it to be correct. If you want to double check you can have a private scan done from about 14 weeks which should be able to tell you if it’s a boy or a girl.

I think you need to use this time to connect with your baby, regardless of its sex, and stop posting to gather evidence that he might be a girl.

Honestly, what’s point? The baby’s sex is what it is, no matter how many desperate posts you make about it.
