To want a whole new career?

I dropped out of my A levels and moved into admin roles throughout my twenties. I've now got two young children but the youngest will be starting school next year and I'm in such a head space on what to do next.
I currently wfh and the job is so flexible and I can't possibly get any better when it comes to childcare it works so well. However I don't find it interesting and often find myself unfulfilled by it and bored.

I am wondering if a new career, university path would be the right choice to make? Is it worth the stress for a little bit of extra money and a good career or do I just keep my boring admin job and have an 'easy life'. That's what it feels like an easy option and I am not meeting my full potential.

any advice is welcome, has anyone ever felt this way before?

I had considered nursing or midwifery but I don't want to pursue those now given the unsocial hours and family sacrifices.

Are you a single parent?

I think university might only be worth it if it’s for a profession that specifically requires a degree (like nursing or midwifery). Otherwise you are better off doing a course or qualification or even a part-time apprenticeship. What are you interested in? e.g. finance, project management, counselling, human resources, marketing, etc.

Thank you, I'm not a single parent but my husband works shifts Sad I will consider an alternative route and look into that Smile I would say something in healthcare and I love children. I am really good with children but I wouldn't want to do any sort of childcare position
