To think this was gross?! Toddler public toileting.

I was in a playground area today. A mum was there with a toddler aged 2/3, used a portable potty for a poop. The mum proceeded to thoroughly wipe them in full view of whoever was there and passing by.
AIBU to think this was just too much and she should have gone to the toilets? (Which were quite literally 20 seconds around the corner)

A quick wee in a portable potty maybe, but not this?!

If they can’t hold it they aren’t ready for potty training!!! Soo many parents are desperate to potty train their children far too early before they are ready nowadays

This is new, it’s normally complaints about lazy parents not doing it.

A lot of toddlers can’t poo on an actual toilet at first. My two year old is terrified of toilets (we’re working on it) but until she isn’t the potty it is. And yes, it’s gross but I think better than the alternative.

I suppose the outdoors is cleaner than public loos? Maybe that’s why she did it.

I have potty trained 5 children and never once used a portable potty. Completely gross.
