Specifically thinking of beautiful dresses with the model just standing there in a teenagery "What?!" attitude, a miserable face and ugly ass shoes. I have noticed a hell of a lot of this lately. Also, legs pressed together with feet turned almost comically outward, not quite the full mary poppins but close, and what I call "anti make up" That is, make is clearly being worn but in a way to make someone look as washed out as possible.

Whereas on other sites, vanishingly few at the moment, similar styles look stunning simply because the model is smiling and wearing flattering make up.

Buying clothes is aspirational, we think "If I buy that I might look like her!" of course most of us wont but thats the dreeam..... no one is aspiring to look like a miserable bitch who was forced into a dress she hates and has the whole look of "Pissed off teenage goth at her Aunts wedding" are they?

Or am I missing a major trend and I should be stomping around in floaty frock with a face like a slapped arse?

Can you give us an example if this that hasn't sold dresses?
