Is this a red flag?

My husband of 5 years will often say to me 'you just need to focus on keeping me happy and you'll have everything you ever wanted' at the end of a draining discussion/argument. Is this a red flag or a genuine thing a spouse says to their spouse ?

I mean for what it's worth I asked him to leave on the weekend as I asked him exactly the same thing as in why are are you still here when you feel how you do about me. He said I can't believe all this over a small misunderstanding (reference to the straw that broke the camels back for me this weekend). I haven't heard anything since Sunday and I know I won't but my mind is playing tricks on me that's all and I'm questioning if I did the right thing as when he left he said I was over reacting...
