On my commute in this morning, there is a woman sat behind me swearing and complaining to herself loudly enough that I can hear it without trying, about a multitude of things; her phone, the train, being late amongst other things. Since when has it become acceptable to subject everyone else to bad language and your frustration in public places?
YABU - She’s having a bad morning, leave her alone.
YANBU - Standards of behaviour in public have declined. Inflicting your bad morning on everyone else isn’t ok.

Whilst it’s not pleasant to hear bad language and drama in public, I’ve said YABU as it sounds like the person has mental health problems.

Put your EarPods in and crack on.

It is out of control. Loud awful awful music, kids programs on iPads full volume, speaker conversations, laying full body across seats, feet up on seats, horrendous body odour, bad breath.

It’s what it has come to now.
So EarPods in and ignore.

It is, isn’t it. The frequency with which I encounter clearly underage children drinking, swearing and vaping on the train is horrifying.
