Toddler clumsiness when to be worried

I know its never good to ask for medical advice online, but really im just looking for anyone who may have advice or has gone through similar.
My 4 year old has become extremely clumsy in the last 3 weeks, think 3 accidents at nursery in one week 3 falls on one 15 min walk, and most recently a trip to A&E after a bad fall requiring glue to the wound.
I've been thinking its due to tiredness as we've just had another baby so more noise in the house, broken sleep etc but I wonder is there something more to it? Im going to ask the GP for a blood test but has anyone any advice about whether I should mention anything else or ask for any more tests?

Have they had a growth spurt? That might make them less coordinated. It could be tiredness or a virus, or even a play for attention (DS used to purposely bump his head if he was being chided for something, then cry because he knew he’d get a cuddle)… it’s probably nothing to worry about, however I think you’d be doing the right thing bringing it to the GP. Has DC complained of any headaches or nausea recently? If so, mention that too.

It could just be ‘one of those things’ with no real cause - one of DS’s friends bumped her head at school three or four times in the space of a few weeks last year, had head CT etc and there was no reason behind it. She hasn’t done it recently, and has had no long term ill effects.

I would go to GP to check ears as that's related to balance. Has your child been ill recently?

I have a 12 year old. They don't get less clumsy 😂

I'd go to the opticians and the shoe shop. Get her eyes tested and feet measured as a first step.

I’d definitely get ears checked - our GP prescribed antibiotics over the phone for DD when she had an ear infection and “she’s become really wobbly” was one of the main things I described.

This. Something has changed and you're worried. Take him to rule out ear infection/anaemia etc. As above, has he has a growth spurt?

Thanks so.much everyone for advice, I didn't mention previously but DC has glue ear in both ears, is it possible its related? Yes definitely going to the GP to look at everything, also eye test etc
